Phase sensitive
Use Phase Sensitive Imaging Option to acquire Phase Sensitive MDE and 2D Single Shot MDE images.
The PSMDE scan is an inversion based, segmented, cardiac gated, dual acquisition, non-single shot FGRE acquisition. The first acquisition in the first R-R interval captures the inverted data set. The second acquisition in the second R-R interval captures the reference data set used assess background phase for phase sensitive reconstruction.
- The following scan parameters are used to acquire PSMDE images: 2D Mode, Gradient Echo family, Fast GRE pulse, and Phase Sensitive and Cardiac Gating are selected as Imaging Options.
- 2D Single Shot MDE scan selections: 2D Mode, Gradient Echo family, FIESTA or Fast SPGR pulse, Phase Sensitiveand IR-Prepared and Cardiac Gating must be selected as Imaging Options.
- TE is not selectable with Phase Sensitive and is automatically set to Minimum Full.
- SCENIC image filter is not compatible with Phase Sensitive.
- Series acquired with Phase Sensitive Imaging Option are stored in the Patient List as follows:
- Phase Sensitive image: the original series number
- Magnitude images: (original series number) * 100
