SWAN individual echos

Before you begin

Select the SWAN protocol from the GE Protocol Library before you begin the scan.

SWAN individual echos is incompatible with MinIP inline post-processing.

About this task

During a scan, SWAN acquires multiple echos, then combines them into a single image when the scan is complete. SWAN individual echos allows you to export the individual SWAN echos for additional post-processing, rather than the aggregate image.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to Scan Parameters > Advanced.
  2. Change the value of CV26 from 0 to 1 to enable SWAN individual echos.
  3. Do the scan.

    Result

    The system puts the individual images in the image database.
  4. Export the images for post-processing, as desired.
