Background suppression

Background suppression is a reconstruction method used with 3D or 2D Mode, Gradient Echo family, MERGE pulse.

0 = Off.

• Typically used with off-center musculoskeletal exams.

1 = On.

• Suppresses background noise and thus enhances spinal cord contrast.
