FLAIR Inversion

Use FLAIR Inversion to enable a FLAIR acquisition with DWI-EPI imaging. CSF is bright on T2-weighted images, confounding the visualization of hyper-intense T2 changes.

• To use FLAIR in a DWI EPI acquisition, enter 1 to turn FLAIR Inversion on.
• By selecting this option with DWI scans, CSF signal is eliminated from the T2- and diffusion-weighted images.
• The images are annotated with a TI time.
