Minimum Refocusing Flip Angle

Use Minimum Refocusing Flip Angle to customize the internal Cube parameters and mitigate head shading by internal vascular pulsation. It only applies to head scan with Cube T2 FLAIR.

If you select Cube T2 Flair with head anatomy, Minimum Refocusing Flip Angle is open.

The value that you select determines the minimum flip angle of the refocusing RF pulse.

• A smaller flip angle increases CNR, reduces SNR, and increases pulsation sensitivity.
• A larger flip angle decreases CNR, increases the SNR, and reduces pulsation sensitivity.

The minimum and default value is 20. The maximum value is 50.
