STIR Minimum Acquisition

Use STIR Minimum Acquisition with scans that are acquired with Mode: 2D, Family: Echo Planar Imaging, Pulse: DW EPI. This CV is available when IR Prepared Imaging Option is used for DW EPI.

There are two options: 1 or 2.

STIR Minimum Acquisitions = 1, which means that the software divides the total set of prescribed slices into 1, 2, 3 or more acquisitions.

STIR Minimum Acquisitions = 2, which means that the software divides the total set of prescribed slices into 2, 3 or more acquisitions.

• The thickness of the inversion pulse is approximately two times the slices thickness.
• The default value for the STIR minimum acquisitions CV is set to 2 to minimize the cross-talk effect.
