SWAN phase background removal

Use the SWAN phase background removal User CV with SWAN acquisitions. The signal dynamic range of SWAN Phase Images spans negative and positive values. Any automated or manual windowing thereby results in the background noise falling in the middle of the displayed dynamic range.This User CV allows automatic removal of background noise on phase images.

There are two selections.

  • 1 = On
  • 0 = Off

The default state is set to 1 if the Phase Image menu option on the scan parameters Details screen is set to Invert or Normal.

The User CV is not available if the Phase Image menu option is set to Off.
