Annefact Reduction

Use the Annefact Reduction User CV to suppress annefact artifacts in 3D Vascular Fast TOF scans (i.e. Fast TOF-GRE or Fast TOF-SPGR) or 3D Fast GRE/SPGR scans when the scan uses a large FOV. The User CV can also be used with multi-station scans.

Annefact Reduction selections include following:

• Annefact Reduction 0 = (Off)
• Annefact Reduction 1 = (Mid) medium artifact reduction, for scans with Min TE, S/I frequency and NEX less than 1, or Min Full TE, S/I phase and NEX larger than or equal to 0.75.
• Annefact Reduction: 2 = (High) high artifact reduction, for scans with Min TE, S/I frequency and NEX larger than or equal to 1.

The User CV is available with following scan parameters.

• Plane : Coronal or Sagittal (including Oblique)
