DISCO Star

Consider this information when combining the Star Imaging Option with multi-phase DISCO.

  • DISCO Star provides a continuous dynamic multiphase acquisition.
  • Note that the variable delay table and visual display are blank as DISCO Star is a continuous acquisition and therefore it doesn’t support variable delays.
  • Frequency, NEX and Phase Acceleration values determine the duration for mask, wash-in and delayed phases.
  • After setting the frequency, NEX and Phase Acceleration values, use the Temporal Acceleration field to further adjust the temporal resolution of the wash-in phases. Temporal resolution shows the temporal resolution for a wash-in phase and wash-in time shows the total time for all the wash-in phases.
  • DISCO Star uses a view-sharing technique that can cause some temporal blurring.
