Maximum Rescan Time

Select a Maximum Rescan Time from the menu or type in a value in seconds. The scan parameter is only available when PROMO is selected as an Imaging Option.

• Maximum Rescan time scan parameter sets a limit to the total amount of rescan time allowed. The maximum rescan time is 300 seconds.
• The Rescan time may reset during rescan if motion occurs and the Maximum Rescan time has not been met.
• As the Maximum Rescan Time increases, the total scan time potentially increases. If the system does not need to acquire additional views to compensate for patient motion, then the scan time does not change from the prescribed scan time.
