Restore backed-up protocols

About this task

The Scanner IPM application takes a backup of protocols each time before committing the protocols that are downloaded from the Cloud. The scanner application maintains a maximum of 3 backup protocols.

Use these steps if the protocols you received from the Cloud to the scanner are not acceptable. You can restore a selected set of backup protocols.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the Service Browser.
  2. From the Configuration tab of the Service browser, click Imaging Protocol Manager (IPM).

  3. From the Imaging Protocol Manager tab, click the Restore Protocols tab and complete the following:

    1. Select one of the available backup protocols and click Restore.
    2. Click Yes to the pop-up message and the In Progress icon appears as the restoration continues.
      • A successful message appears below the list of restore options once the restoration is completed.
