Imaging Protocol Manager (IPM)

Imaging Protocol Manager (IPM) is a cloud-based protocol management software solution that helps to maintain and standardize CT, MR and X-Ray protocols at a centralized location by allowing the following:

• Create protocol libraries.
• Standardize the imaging workflow.
• Identify protocol variation.
• Improve adherence to protocol compliance set up by the clinical practice to meet regulatory requirements.
• Achieve improved quality of care, operational efficiency and optimized patient experience.

It is NOT intended to be a medical diagnostic device and/or patient safety-related management system. However, it is intended as a clinical assistant system that improves consistency of exam quality and patient experience through standardization and active management of exam protocols across devices and facilities.

For an MR scanner to be able to connect to the Imaging Protocol Manager application, the scanner needs to first be registered to the IPM application. The scanner application will be able to send protocols to the IPM application, which can be standardized and sent back to the scanner to standardize image quality.
