About this task
Use these steps to set the W/L to a desired value and then lock it as you scroll through images for the active viewport.For a new exam, the default state for Keep W/L is on. When prescribing different series within an exam, the last modified state of the button is retained until the next modification is made.
Step-by-step instructions
- Select the viewport with the image for which you want to lock the W/L.
Result
This makes the viewport active.
- From the Graphic Rx toolbar, click the
. - From the Tools menu, click Keep W/L option box to turn it on.
The W/L remains at the Lock W/L values as you scroll through images within the selected viewport.
- To remove the locked W/L, click Keep W/L option box again to turn it off. It is a toggle feature.
When Keep W/L is off, the W/L reverts to the auto W/L values as you scroll through images within the selected viewport.
