Multi-Exam Viewer

About this task

Multi-Exam Viewer displays all exams in the Data Selector rather than only the series for the selected patient's exam. Only exams that share the same patient ID are displayed in the Data Selector when Viewer launches a review session. The Multi-Exam Viewer allows you to navigate between exams within one session rather than opening up multiple Viewer sessions. It also allows you to film images from multiple patient's exams on a single filmer.

Use these steps to view multiple exams in a single Viewer.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. From the header area of the screen, click the Image Management icon to open the Image Management work area.
  2. From the Patient List, select up to four exams that you want to display in the Viewer.
  3. From the Session Apps list, click Multi-Exam Viewer to open a Viewer session with the selected exams.

    1. Click the Study tab and the desired exam.
    2. Click the Series tab and the desired series.
