Delete a language

About this task

Only languages that have been added to the AutoVoice Language list can be deleted. The languages the system comes loaded with cannot be deleted.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. From the Tools menu, select Preferences to open the System Preferences screen.

  2. From the System Preferences screen, click Auto Voice... to open the AutoVoice Management Tool screen.

  3. Click Close to close the System Preference screen.
  4. From the AutoVoice Management Tool screen, click Options.
  5. From the Modify AutoVoice Language screen, select the language you want to remove from the list.

  6. Click Delete.
  7. Click Yes.
  8. Click Accept to close the Modify AutoVoice Language screen.
  9. Click Accept to close the AutoVoice Management Tool screen.
