ViosWorks send data

Before you begin

The 4DFLOW option key must be enabled.

About this task

Use these steps to transfer 4DFLOW image data to an Artery’s PHI server.

4DFLOW is a component of ViosWorks.

Viosworks is powered by the Arterys cloud platform, which is FDA cleared and CE marked. Arterys is a web-accessible, image analysis software intended to automate and simplify the visualization and quantification of cardiovascular images.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. From the header area of the screen, click the Image Management icon to open the Image Management work area.
  2. Select the exam or series you want to transfer that has 4DFLOW data sets.
    • The exam must be ended and all reconstructions completed.
    • There is one file per exam that contains the selected series for the data transfer. If an exam is selected without selecting individual series, then all series in the exam will be sent as one file.
    • Press Shift and simultaneously click the first and last item.
    • Press Ctrl and simultaneously click individual items.

  3. From the Data Apps list, click ViosWorks Transfer.

  4. From the ViosWorks screen, click Send to activate the transfer process to Arterys.

    1Send activates the transfer process from the MR system to the Arterys PHI server.
    2Message display area that indicates if the selected exam or series has been accepted after you click Send.
    3Refresh icon. Click to update the transfer log.
    4Transfer log lists the exam/series that have been queued for transfer. The Status column is updated when you click the Refresh icon.

    Messages are sorted by exam ID with the latest queued exam and its latest status at the top of the list.

    Displays transfer statuses from the last 7 days is displayed.

    5Close button closes the ViosWorks screen.
  5. Click the Refresh icon to update the transfer log.
  6. Click Close to close the ViosWorks screen.
  7. For DICOM annotation, see the DICOM header procedure.
    For 3DCINE-SPGR 3DCINE-FIESTA and 2D CINE scans, the heart rate and nominal interval DICOM tags (0018,1088 and 0018,1062) show the mean heart rate/nominal interval during the scan. Additionally, the minimum RR interval, the maximum RR interval, the number of rejected segments due to detected arrhythmia and the total number of acquired segments during the scan, are also included in the DICOM header (Tags: 0018,1081- 0018,1082- 0018, 1084- 0018,1083, respectively).
