Delete protocol

Before you begin

To work with protocols, you must belong to the ProtocolEdit group. If you are not assigned to the ProtocolEdit group, a message appears when you try to work on a protocol.

Click OK when prompted and consult your site administrator, who assigns roles for each MR user.

About this task

Use these steps to delete a series within a protocol or the entire protocol from your Site library.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Start a protocol session.
  2. From the Protocol screen, select the anatomical tab and filters to refine the protocol list.
  3. Follow these steps to delete a series from the Multi Protocol Basket after you have moved a series from the Protocol List to the Multi Protocol Basket and the Protocol screen from Scan is open.
    1. From the Multi Protocol Basket, select the series that you want to remove.
    2. Double-click the Trash icon to delete all series from the Multi Protocol Basket.
  4. Use these steps to delete the entire protocol from your Site library.
    1. Select the protocol that you want to delete.
      • Press Shift and simultaneously click the first and last protocols to select a contiguous list of protocols.
      • Press Ctrl and simultaneously click each protocol you want to select for non-contiguous protocols.
    2. Click Delete.
    3. Click Yes.
