NumberItemDescription
1Waveform DisplayThese items control which waveforms appear in the console and on the in-room display. Choose to display any or all of the waveforms.
  • Select ECG to display ECG channels.
  • Select PPG to display the PG channel.
  • Select RESP to display the respiratory channel.
2Cardiac Gating SelectionThese items control the cardiac trigger. Choose one item.
  • ECG Vector
  • ECG Standard
  • ECG Third Party
  • PPG
3Trigger LeadThese items control the gating algorithms on the respective channels. The item that you select in Cardiac Gating Selection determines the available Trigger Lead items.
  • Vector gating trigger lead group
    • VCG I + II is the system default after Gating Reset. The system uses both channels simultaneously for the most reliable triggering.
    • Use VCG-I if this is the only channel is showing an acceptable ECG waveform.
    • Use VCG-II if this is the only channel is showing an acceptable ECG waveform.
  • Standard gating trigger lead group
    • ECG-I is the summation of ECG-II and ECG-III.
    • ECG-II is the electrical activity between the red and white electrodes.
    • ECG-III is the electrical activity between the black and green electrodes.
4Record Physio WaveformsSelect Start and Stop to record ECG, PG, and respiratory signals.
5Gating Reset

Select Gating Reset to clear the triggering history and relearn the patient’s waveforms. Do this before scanning when the patient is at the scan position and the waveforms are free of interferences. You can also select Gating Reset if:

  • A change has been made to electrode connections or placement
  • The waveform appears clear but the triggering marks are incorrect
  • The patient’s heart rate has changed significantly
Note: This function does not correct problems caused by inadequate lead connections.
6Audio Trigger Volume

(cardiac triggers only)

Use the slider to adjust the audio signal that indicates trigger detection. 0 is off, and 10 is the maximum volume.
7Cardiac Trigger LevelThese items are active if you select certain cardiac triggering method in Cardiac Gating Selection.
  • Choose one of the trigger threshold options, or type your own in Trigger Level. Your entry must be between 30 and 90.
  • Select Auto to use the default threshold of 65%.
  • You can change Trigger Level at any time.

Select Annotation > On to enable a threshold tick mark on the Waveform tab. The tick mark indicates the amplitude of the trigger level for any waveform where the threshold level is allowed to be adjusted (PPG and some ECG waveforms).
