3D Heart concept

3D Heart is an improvement to three PSDs used to acquire coronary vessels using 3D gated Fiesta and 3D gated Fast GRE/SPGR and for myocardium evaluation using a 3D myocardium delayed enhancement (Fast GRE with IR-Prep and cardiac gated imaging options) acquisition. 3D Heart includes many enhancements that increase the SNR/CNR, reduce motion artifact, allow free-breathing acquisitions and, in general, improve the cardiac workflow.

  • 3D multi-slab localizer is an application for easy whole heart or whole chest coverage and it minimizes the effect of respiratory drift and heart rate variability on image quality.

  • Navigator slab tracking cylindrical excitation, and multi-channel combination improve motion suppression and increase Navigator scan efficiency.
  • 3D Fast GRE has IR Prep enabled.

3D Fiesta allows T2 Prep, Navigator, and SPECIAL IR Fat saturation on 1.5T systems.
