About this task
To change T1 Map settings, make a selection from the desired T1 Map screens.Step-by-step instructions
- From the T1 Map screen, click the T1 Map settings arrow and adjust the settings.
- The low and high threshold sliders allow you to define the range of MR values (pixel values) that will be processed by the protocol (shown by green hatching on the image. The threshold eliminates trailing echoes whose intensity falls below the noise floor. The default lower threshold value is 50.
- The Kernel spatial smoothing default value is 2. As the kernel size increases, voxel averaging occurs and the image maps appears smoother.
- If you change a parameter, click Compute to generate maps with the new settings.
- Click Compute to generate new maps.
- If needed, execute Clip Min & Max.
- From the T1 Map screen title bar area, click the
. - From the T1 Map screen, click the T1Map - Final Settings arrow to review the settings. If you want to change any of the settings, follow these steps.
- Click the appropriate selection from the T1 Map screen.
- From the T1 Map settings screen, click Compute to generate updated maps.
- The green progress bar updates as the T1 Map calculations are made.
- Reset changes the selections to the factory default values.
- Save All changes and saves your selections as the new default values.
