Drag and drop image

About this task

Use these steps to drag and drop an image into the Graphic Rx viewports. Consider this information as you use execute the drag and drop procedure:
  • Note: The cursor changes as you drag and drop the series.
    • Cursor appearance when it enters a GRx viewport:
    • Cursor appearance when it is dragged outside of a GRx viewport or when a task has not been selected:
  • If the selected series has multiple sub-series associated with it, the main series is dragged and dropped.
  • If there is an absence of main series, then M*100 series will be dragged and dropped.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Click a 2D or 3D series from the Workflow Manager that is in the InRX (In Prescription) state.
    This is the series to which you want to drag and drop an image(s) into the GRx viewport(s).
  2. Select 2D or 3D series that is in the DONE state.
    This is the series that has the image(s) that will be dragged to the Grx viewport(s).
  3. There are two drag and drop options.
    1. Left-click to highlight the series and then again left-click and hold the selected series to drag and drop it to a GRx viewport. This action deposits the center image from the selected series. This action is equivalent to completing the following.
      • From the Graphic Rx toolbar, click Select Series and from the Select Series screen, click a series and click OK.
    2. Press and hold the Alt button and left-click the selected series, then drag and drop it to the GRx viewport. Images from the beginning, middle and end of the series are deposited in the 3 GRx viewports. This action is equivalent to completing the following.
      • From the Graphic Rx toolbar, click Select Series and from the Select Series screen, click a series and click OK.
