About this task
Use these steps to generate parametric images from a series acquired with the Cartigram (T2 Map) application.Step-by-step instructions
- Open READY View and launch the T2 Map protocol.
T2 Map launches and the source image, maps and a time intensity curve display. The image/graph displayed in each viewport is based on the selected protocol.
- Locate the area of interest.
- Adjust the W/L and magnification.
For details, see:
- To adjust the W/L, middle-click and drag over the image map to visualize cartilage.
- Recommended color scale settings are 10 (bottom) and 90 (top). You may wish to alter these to improve the dynamic range by changing this scale; doing so will not affect the quantitative values obtained by using an ROI analysis.
- Based on the rainbow option selected from the Color panel, consider the following:
- Healthy cartilage has a short T2.
- Blue and green reflect the longer T2 values.
- Yellow reflects the intermediate T2 values.
- Red and orange reflect the shorter T2 values.
- To adjust the magnification factor, place the cursor over the yellow DFOV in the top left portion of the viewport, and middle-click and drag right to left.
