MR-Touch optional procedure

About this task

To change MR-Touch settings, make a selection from the desired MR-Touch screens.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. From the MR-Touch screen, click and drag the left threshold slider until the requested anatomy (liver) is outlined in green.
    Note: Compute does not update the threshold. As the upper or lower slider is moved or a value entered in the text box, the threshold automatically updates.
  2. From the Clip Min & Max values selection, modify the minimum and maximum values for a selected parametric image.
    1. Select the desired map from the menu.
    2. Adjust the sliders to the desired range of values for the selected map.
    3. Click Shared Segmentation to propagate the segmentation to all other maps.
  3. From the MR-Touch screen title bar, click the Tools icon.
  4. From the MR-Touch screen, click the MR-Touch - Advanced Settings arrow to change the Confidence Checker or the color level to optimize the image appearance.
    • To change the value in the Confidence Checker text box, highlight the value and type over it or backspace over the value and type a new value. You do not need to press the Enter key to update the value.
    • The Confidence Checker allows you to vary the confidence mask on the Stiffness + Mask functional map. Low values correspond to high confidence and more data is excluded from computation. High values correspond to low confidence and less data is excluded from computation.
    • The two scales allow you to manipulate the stiffness contrast. Color level (0-8000) is better to visualize softer tissue - shorter scale contrast, and the (0-20,000) is better to visualize stiffer tissue - longer scale contrast.
    • The default value in the threshold text field changes based on your system configuration.
    • Computation automatically occurs once any of the Advanced Settings values are changed (type a value and press Enter or change the value with the slider).
  5. From the MR-Touch screen title bar, click MR-Touch - Final Settings arrow to review the settings. If you want to change any of the settings, follow these steps.
    1. Click the appropriate selection from the MR-Touch screen.
    2. Click Compute to generate updated maps.
  6. To exit READY View, click the Exit icon.
