Keyboard shortcuts

Use these procedures for keyboard shortcuts.

  • Hover the cursor over a button to view a tool tip that describes the button function.
  • Observe the progress bar at the bottom of the screen. It shows the task progress when loading data or processing images.
  • Double click on the viewport to enlarge it and display it as full screen. Double Click again to come back to the original display. This does not apply when in Select mouse mode.

Export

F1Send a single image to a single film frame in the film composer.
F2Change the Film Composer format to match the currently displayed screen format and place all the images into the Film Composer.
F3Place the currently displayed images in a single frame on the Film Composer.
F4Perform a quick Export of the active viewport. It creates a new series number that includes the W/L and magnification adjustments.
SSave image (with default series description).
Alt + SCreates a screen save or a reformat image type. It also allows you to save a series description and puts each save type into a separate series.

Display

Preset WW/WL values can be set from the Viewer. For details, see W/L procedure.

Alt + Page up

Alt + Page down
Switches between the loaded volumes (next, previous) in current viewport. It applies to volumes that have multiple images at each location, for example:
  • DWI displays either the B0 or the B1000
  • ASL displays either the Ti0 or Ti202500
  • Perfusion data sets such as SE-EPI with multiple phases

Page up

Page down

The action varies based on the type of image displayed.

3D images: Left right arrows and Page up and Page down buttons rotate 3D images.

2D images: Left right arrows and Page up and Page down buttons scroll up and down the slices.

Ctrl + mouse movementPages through slices.
Shift arrow upTurns the cursor into a hand and allows you to click and trace while pressing the Shift arrow up key.

Tools

Activates regional registration based on 3D cursor location and uses parameters set in Global Preferences.

AltEdit a trace.
Shift arrow key

LActivate 2D measurement tool.
P NFocuses on <P>rior or <N>ext measurement.
DeleteDeletes active measurement. This can also be done using the <Backspace> key.
Ctrl + UDeletes the current Trace.
Ctrl + FIn fused viewports, set the fusion factor to:
  • 50% when current fusion factor is between 0% and 50%
  • 100% when current fusion factor is more or equal to 50%
  • 0% when current fusion factor is 100%
