Use these power off or overnight mode steps to save energy when the system is not expected to be in use for extended periods of time, such as evenings, weekends and holidays.
Important
For optimum system performance, restart your MR system, at a minimum every three days. It is advisable to restart your system daily.
Step-by-step instructions
Make sure all images have reconstructed and are available for display from the Patient List.
End an exam, if necessary.
Wait for all post processing, archive, network, filming, CD/DVD, etc. functions to complete.
Remove any archive media, if necessary.
From the header area of the screen, click the and select System Power Off. For SIGNATM Voyager mobile system with motus table protection requirement, see Mobile table protection.
When prompted, click on the reason for the system shutdown: Daily, Service, Other or Cancel to exit the shutdown of your system.
The applications begin to shut down, which will take several minutes.
When the shutdown is completed, the screen goes blank and the computer turns off.
