TiP Virtual Assist
TVA (TiP Virtual Assist) combines the hands-on benefits of on-site training with the convenience and cost savings of distance learning. TVA provides a one-on-one training powered by a high-speed broadband link, which allows GE personnel to connect directly to your imaging console. You and the trainer see the same screen at the same time and can even share control of console. TVA is designed in compliance with Data Privacy guidelines.
TiP Virtual Assist provides:
- live-on-demand support to troubleshoot system performance
- the ability to share control of the console to demonstrate and instruct complex procedures
- real-time critique of image quality
- protection against GE personnel from performing a scan, moving the table or editing patient data
- customer-initiated connections; GE cannot access your console without your permission
- full site control at any time
TVA requires user-initiated activation to allow a GE trainer access to your console for training or troubleshooting.
A default password is provided to each console for GE personnel to use when accessing the console. As an added layer of security, you may change the password, but you must provide the new password to any GE personnel using your console for remote training or troubleshooting.
If you or the GE trainer do not use the console for 10 minutes, TVA automatically disconnects.
The Remote Training screen displays when your console is connected to TiP Virtual Assist. The buttons displayed depend on the current status of the training session.
